Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville will be the host for the Georgia Sports Writers Association annual meeting on June 4.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with a buffet dinner at the club. The menu typically includes fried chicken, roast beef, an assortment of vegetables, soup, homemade yeast rolls and cornbread, a salad bar and numerous choices for dessert.

Cost to attend the meeting will be $20 and includes drink and gratuity.

The schedule of speakers will be announced later this week, but includes Georgia Tech basketball coach Josh Pastner and veteran college football writer and broadcaster Tony Barnhart.

The evening will conclude with a brief business meeting and the announcement of the annual writing and editing awards.
